Notes
No plant-specific reported greenfield capex was found in official owner/government sources. BayWa r.e. publicly describes Hughes Road BESS as approximately 200 MW / 800 MWh, with construction now anticipated to commence in early 2028 and operations expected in 2029. AEMO/Aurecon 2024 benchmark values were used only for technical defaults, not as reported project capex. The 85% efficiency value reflects the AEMO/Aurecon 2024 round-trip efficiency assumption for 4-hour BESS; 20-year design life also reflects AEMO/Aurecon 2024.
